The Patricia Theatre & qathet international film festival have many volunteer opportunities before, during and after the festival. Volunteers can invest as much time as they’d like.

Each 2-hour shift you complete will earn you a FREE movie ticket for the film festival, and if you complete two or more shifts you’ll get a free volunteer t-shirt!

Patricia Theatre
The Patricia Theatre is looking for volunteers to help out at every screening. As a volunteer, you’ll get a free ticket to that screening and meet fellow movie-lovers in our community. Consider becoming a weekly regular!

Volunteer Opportunities
Festival
- Pass and ticket sales at our qiff kiosk at Town Centre Mall (leading up to the Film Festival)
- Pass and ticket scanning at the door
- Membership sales
- Raffle and door prize sales
- Will Call table
- Audience ballot distribution and tallying
- Food serving at opening and closing parties
- Bartending at special events (Serving It Right required)
- Cleanup after films
Throughout the year
- Patricia Theatre screenings: ticket scanners, ushers, door greeters
- Adventures in Film Camp: venue setup, meal setup and cleanup, drivers, ushers
- Elementary School Screenings: ushers and ticket takers
